Arki-Proof L280

Flexible, polymer-modified (elastomeric) cementitious waterproofing coating.

Arki-Proof L280 is a two-component, flexible, polymer-modified (elastomeric) cementitious waterproofing coating. Component (A) is a white polymer emulsion liquid, while Component (B) is a finely selected blend of cementitious materials and dry additives. The product forms a highly flexible waterproofing membrane that provides an effective barrier against water and moisture, with the ability to bridge dynamic hairline cracks.

Usage Instructions

Follow each step for best results.

01 Surface Preparation

Ensure that all surfaces are clean, sound, and free from dust, laitance, and loose particles. Remove contaminants using a wire brush, grinding, sandblasting, or high-pressure water blasting. The concrete must be at least 3 to 4 weeks old. Pre-dampen the substrate with water and allow excess water to drain and evaporate before starting application. Do not apply the material at temperatures below 5°C.

02 Mixing

Add Part A (powder) slowly to Part B (liquid) while mixing using a slow-speed drill (300 to 600 rpm) fitted with a suitable mixing paddle. Mix continuously for at least 2 minutes until a smooth, homogeneous, and lump-free consistency is obtained. If necessary, 0.20 to 0.30 liters of water may be added to adjust the consistency.

03 Application

Apply the mixed material using a brush, roller, or spray equipment. Applying two coats is recommended to achieve the best performance, with a recommended thickness of 500 microns per coat.

04 Cleaning

Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use before the material hardens.
