High-performance polymer-modified cementitious tile adhesive.

Arkimix PV7 is a ready-to-use multipurpose liquid PVA-based bonding agent and cement modifier. It is used as an integral bonding agent for cement-based mixes such as tile adhesives, plaster, repair mortars and screeds.

Usage Instructions

Follow each step for best results.

01 Surface Preparation
Use fresh cement and well-graded aggregate free from excessive fines. Ensure the substrate and mix materials are suitable for the intended application. Avoid excessive water, as modified mixes may appear more workable than they actually are.

Preferably mix in a pan mixer. Hand batching is allowed when the total mix weight is less than 25 kg. Add the required quantity of sand and cement, pour in the required amount of Arkimix PV7, and mix for 2 minutes only to avoid excessive air entrainment. Add water carefully until the required consistency is achieved.

Use Arkimix PV7 as an integral bonding agent and cement modifier for cement-based mixes such as tile adhesives, plaster, repair mortars and screeds. Apply the modified mix as per the application requirement. Trowelling should proceed with the work; do not over-trowel or re-trowel.
Clean tools with water before the material hardens. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
