Arki-Bond C10 is a high-performance, polymer-modified cementitious tile adhesive composed of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, and special polymers. Supplied as a dry powder in pre-weighed bags ready to use on-site — only clean water is added to produce an easily workable, slip-resistant mortar. Ideal for fixing ceramic and porcelain tiles at a bed thickness of 3–10 mm depending on tile type and substrate.
Slowly add Arki-Bond C10 to 6 litres of clean water while mixing. Use a slow-speed electric drill with a mixing paddle for approximately 2 minutes until a smooth, slump-free consistency is achieved. Allow the mixture to rest for 5–10 minutes before use.
Apply the mixed adhesive with a trowel and comb it using a suitably sized notched trowel to create a ribbed adhesive bed. Fix tiles within the product’s 20-minute open time, pressing firmly with a slight twisting motion to ensure full contact and avoid voids beneath the tiles.
Clean excess adhesive from tile surfaces and grout joints with a damp cloth before the adhesive hardens. Tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use.
