High-build solvent-free epoxy protective coating for concrete and steel surfaces exposed to water, chemicals, and aggressive environments.

Arki-Kote E420 is a two-component, high-build epoxy protective coating specially developed for corrosion protection in water industry applications. This solvent-free, moisture-tolerant coating cures to form a hard, smooth finish with outstanding water resistance, chemical resistance, and long-term durability. Supplied in pre-measured packs for easy mixing, Arki-Kote E420 is ideal for waterproofing, lining, and protecting concrete and steel structures operating under aggressive immersion conditions.

Usage Instructions

Follow each step for best results.

01 Surface Preparation

Prepare concrete by grit blasting to remove laitance and contaminants. Repair defects before coating. Steel surfaces should be grit blasted to SA 2½ and primed with Arki-Primer EP7.

02 Mixing

Mix the pre-measured Part A and Part B components using a low-speed mixer for 2–3 minutes until a smooth, uniform consistency is achieved. Avoid entrapping air during mixing.

03 Application

Apply using a short-nap mohair roller in two coats to achieve the recommended dry film thickness. Observe the specified recoat interval and allow the coating to cure fully before service.

04 Cleaning

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with Arki-Solv 1 before the material hardens.
