Arki Top E80

Solvent-free, high-build epoxy floor coating

Arki-Top E80 is a two-component, solvent-free, medium-viscosity epoxy floor coating. It provides a smooth, flat finish available in a wide range of colors, along with excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. Specifically formulated for heavy-duty floors, it provides long-lasting protection in industrial and commercial environments.

Usage Instructions

Follow each step for best results.

01 Surface Preparation

Ensure all surfaces are structurally sound, dry, clean, and free from contaminants. Repair any damaged areas using the appropriate Arki repair mortar. New concrete must be at least four weeks old with a moisture content of less than 5%. Weak concrete should be primed with Arki-Primer EP1, while steel substrates should be grit blasted to SA 2½ and primed with Arki-Primer EP7.

02 Mixing

Add Part B (Hardener) to Part A (Base) and mix using a slow-speed drill fitted with a jiffy blade for approximately 3 minutes until a uniform color is achieved. Avoid mixing partial packs and never add solvents.

03 Application

Apply Arki-Top E80 evenly using a short-pile mohair roller at a coverage rate of approximately 5 m²/L to achieve a dry film thickness (DFT) of 200 microns. Apply the second coat after the first coat has reached initial dry. Allow the surface to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before permitting traffic, with full chemical resistance achieved after 6–7 days.

04 Cleaning

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use using Arki-Solv 1.
