Arki-Primer EP1

Solvent-free, epoxy resin-based primer

Arki-Primer EP1 is a solvent-free epoxy system formulated as a high-performance primer to enhance the adhesion of Arki-Kote and Arki-Top flooring systems where optimal horizontal substrate sealing and maximum bond strength are required. The system penetrates concrete surfaces to provide an excellent bond for subsequent epoxy coats.

Usage Instructions

Follow each step for best results.

01 Surface Preparation

Ensure all surfaces are structurally sound, dry, clean, and free from dust, oil, grease, curing compounds, and loose materials. Concrete must be mechanically prepared and its moisture content must not exceed 5%.

02 Mixing

Mix Part A (Resin) with Part B (Hardener) using a slow-speed drill and a suitable mixing paddle for approximately 3 minutes until a uniform color and consistency are achieved. Do not mix partial packs and do not add any solvents.

03 Application

Apply Arki-Primer EP1 using a brush, roller, or short-nap roller at a wet film thickness of approximately 200 microns. Apply a second coat if necessary once the first coat becomes dry to the touch (tack-free).

04 Cleaning

Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use using Arki-Solv 1.
