Arki-Plaster C

Portland cement-based coloured plaster for interior and exterior applications

Arki-Plaster C is a pre-blended, polymer-modified cementitious dry mortar formulated to be mixed with water to produce a high-performance coloured plaster. It is designed for application up to 25 mm thick over rigid substrates including concrete block, stucco mesh and brick. After application, the surface can be finished with a variety of attractive textures using a sponge, float or trowel, making it suitable for decorative interior and exterior finishes.

Usage Instructions

Follow each step for best results.

01 Surface Preparation

Ensure the substrate is clean, sound and free from mould oil, dust, loose particles and other contaminants. Remove all loosely adhering material and dampen the surface before applying Arki-Plaster C.

02 Mixing

Mix approximately 3.8 litres of clean water with one 20 kg bag of Arki-Plaster C. Add the powder slowly into the water while mixing with a grout mixer or slow-speed drill fitted with a high-shear paddle. Mix continuously for at least 3 minutes until a smooth, homogeneous consistency is achieved. Use the mixed material within its pot life and do not re-mix hardened material.

03 Application

Apply the mixed mortar by hand using a steel trowel in layers up to 25 mm thick. Compact well and allow each layer to stiffen before applying the next. Finish the surface using a wooden float, plastic float or damp sponge to achieve the desired texture. Do not add water during the finishing stage.

04 Cleaning

Clean all tools and equipment with water before the plaster hardens.
