Concrete Repair Materials

Arki-Plug

Rapid-setting cementitious mortar for stopping water leaks.

Arki-Plug is a ready-to-use, rapid-setting, cement-based hydraulic mortar chemically designed to withstand continuous exposure to water, even under pressure. It instantly stops the flow of running water and seepage through cracks or holes in concrete and masonry structures.

Uses

  • Stopping active water leaks in concrete and masonry.
  • Preventing seepage through cracks and construction joints.
  • Repairing basements, foundations, manholes, and sewage pipes.
  • Emergency repair of broken water pipes.
  • Swimming pools, underground tanks, and water reservoirs.
  • Sealing and closing damp surfaces.
  • Anchoring steel bolts and metal fixings.

Advantages

  • Easy to use and handle.
  • Rapid-setting with high early strength.
  • Can be applied on horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces.
  • Non-shrink and durable.
  • Can be mixed with water or used dry.
  • Economical and easy to apply.
  • Suitable for underwater applications.

Usage Instructions

Follow each step for best results.

01 Surface Preparation
Ensure that the substrate (surface) is clean, sound, and free from contaminants. Open the cracks or joints sufficiently to provide an excellent mechanical key. It is recommended to undercut the crack into a square or dovetail shape before applying Arki-Plug.
Mix 1 kg of Arki-Plug with approximately 0.28 liters of clean water. Add the powder to the water and mix rapidly for about 15 seconds. The material sets within approximately 60 seconds at a temperature of 23°C.
Press the mixed material immediately and firmly into the crack or joint, and maintain pressure until it hardens and sets. For active leaks, small quantities must be mixed at a time. Arki-Plug can also be applied as a dry powder directly over the leak site for 30 to 40 seconds if needed.
Clean tools immediately after use with water before the mortar hardens.
